About the event
Shimmy & ShredFest gives voice to performers, new or seasoned in their craft, who search for that niche within a niche that celebrates their brand of expression. In our case, it’s Heavy Metal music entwined with Bellydance, Burlesque and Drag. Within the walls of a 137 year old Romanesque style castle, you will find vendors of all things dark and gothic, a lavish staircase leading to the workshops and performances, lined with stained glass turrets, auditoriums with spectacular architecture and a thunderous sound system guaranteed to satisfy. Prepare to feast your eyes, ears and voice on two days of heavy metal and movement majesty.
